McManaway House is nestled amongst established nikau and puriri bush and
only a two minute walk onto beautiful Pa Beach Tryphena on Great
Barrier Island. This recently rebuilt house has three queen size bedrooms, each
with its own ensuite, the finest egyptian cotton has been used throughout
while each room has french doors opening out onto their own private deck and
is available for holiday accommodation rental.
The
kitchen has expansive granite and stainless steel benches and comes complete
with dishwasher, garland gas stove with char grill and bi fold windows
opening onto the deck with views of the native bush. The dining room table
seats 6-8.
McManaway House has been eco friendly designed with solar panels, solar hot water
and a diesel generator. The sitting room has a wood fire stove with a
wetback for also heating the water, comfortable ratan furniture finishes
this area off while the bifold doors open onto the wrap around deck.
This house is ideally situated close
to the beach and shops for travellers to enjoy the best that the island has
to offer on their holiday.
